Humility Project Ambassadors!

This past July we launched locally here in Toledo, OH. Today we officially launch nationally! It’s so exciting to see us become a visible stationary company that prides ourselves on being environmentally and morally conscious. We’ve always said that all new concepts take time to spread. Since we launched in July, our kindness recycled cards have thoughtfully moved through cities and states. Once people join our movement they are inspired!

We are not your average greeting card company and we don’t want to be. Our goal goes beyond giving a kind sentiment just to one person. We want to our customers to “think outside the envelope” and extend their reach of kindness to strangers and people they know. You can do this by simply registering your card through our website www.humilityproject.com and watch your card move!

We are constantly thinking of ways to improve our line by adding new cards, developing our app for users and designing custom cards for non-profits and businesses. We can’t wait to attend our first trade show in NYC next year! The National Stationary Show has graciously welcomed us to showcase our line and we will be ready!

Our local launch was just as important as our national launch today. So many people have supported us through this journey by telling others and purchasing cards. We are proud to say that the majority of our vendors are local and the other are right here in the USA!

So, please, tell a friend and join us by purchasing your cards today. Become one of our Ambassadors and help us reduce waste, reshape the art of greeting and recycle kindness! Attached is our National Press Release, check it out-> National Press Release .

Humility Project Ambassadors!

We hope you all had an opportunity to enjoy your friends and family over Labor Day. It’s so cool to hear, see and witness the joy of togetherness showcased in so many different ways. Many of you traveled, had picnics, went to a parade or just relaxed. Whatever you decided to do we hope that you really took the time to soak it all in.

There is so much going on in world and at times we rush ourselves through life without even taking a moment to just STOP. With all the hustle and bustle of “doing” when was the last time you asked yourself, “Why am I really here?” We hope you don’t think you are just here to take up space…everyone has a purpose and a reason to be here.

So…why are you here? Are you here just to work, to take up space, to be the life of the party or make a difference? Well, we can’t answer that question for you but we do know why we are here. KNOWING your purpose is one of the most freeing things you can experience in life. To KNOW that the Humility Project’s goal is to change a way of thinking and not just sell a product is powerful.

Each day we are fueled by life changing stories, aha moments, card movement and just the enthusiasm from our supporters. We had some of our facebook fans share some stories when strangers helped them out at a time when they really needed it. And because of that ONE interaction with that stranger it forever changed them.

Here is one story submitted by our facebook fan Cheryl H. :

“Years ago when I was in a bad place in my marriage and had no money for food, a lady gave me $20 to get some milk for my kids…I don’t even know her name now but I still remember her til this day.. in fact I had a FB friend in need this week who’s boyfriend left her with no money for her baby and she needed diapers. I remembered the lady all those years ago that helped me and I felt the need to give her what I could. She asked if I wanted her to repay me and I said, “no, someone helped me years ago and now I get to repay her by helping you” It felt great!!!

Cheryl was forever changed by that experience and we are sure she feels like a much better person because of it. It’s just so surprising and so unexpected to receive kindness from a stranger. The Humility Project is here to change that! We want our Ambassadors to make it our new norm.

When you pass our Kindness Recycled cards our hope is that you all have this same effect on others, especially strangers. The impact you can have by just making a simple decision to be kind IS purposeful.

So, again, we ask…why are you here? Are you here just to work, to take up space, to be the life of the party or make a difference? When you are involved in our movement you ARE making a difference! You ARE changing a mindset, you ARE here to help us change the world!

If you haven’t joined us yet in recycling kindness, please purchase your cards today ->http://humilityproject.com/blog/products-page/.

With love and humility,

Humility Project Ambassadors!

We knew we had something special when we first started the Humility Project several years ago. Our Kindness Recycled cards are not just given to people but we challenge you at the same time to be AND become a better person. For us, that’s powerful and it really shows us that as we grow and move forward this movement is not for everyone!

So many times in life we are encouraged to give money to charities or even donate goods to an area food drive. Have you ever thought about what’s behind your “act” of kindness? It’s easier to give this way because you can do this “act” one time then wash your hands of it without any responsibility attached? Most people are use to giving this way especially when it comes to greeting cards. We aim to change that!

Greeting cards have always been a way to express how a person feels on a particular occasion. It could be at a graduation, a funeral or even the holiday season. What if there was no occasion to give kindness? What if you didn’t have a person in mind but just the challenge to give kindness to someone who you didn’t even know? Well, Kindness Recycled cards are challenging you to “think outside the envelope.” When you have an envelope you usually write someone’s name on it and even seal up all those lovely thoughts you have towards an individual. We want you to take it a step further and share those sentiments of kindness not just with one person but with the world!

Kindness Recycled cards are special. The definition of special is of a distinct or particular kind or character; unique; distinguished or different from what is ordinary or usual. We LOVE the definition of special because it totally defines who we are in this industry. When you strive to make a difference in a unique way it takes time for people to accept it. We are not discouraged by the road less traveled. We are excited when we see the light bulb come on when we explain to people what our “greeting cards” actually do.

Why are Kindness Recycled cards special?

Kindness Recycled IS what our cards really do…we recycle kindness by having recipients register, track and trade our cards with others.

We are responsible from the beginning. Our products are 100% made in the USA and we use recycled materials to produce them.

We challenge you to recycle kindness throughout your day to a stranger, co-worker, etc. We don’t need a particular occasion to be kind.

We believe that through our products kindness won’t just be an act but a part of our lifestyle.

We are reshaping the greeting cards industry as we challenge you to rethink how and when you should give greetings.

We are going to reduce waste at a tremendous amount just by recycling kindness and using our website as a point of contact for our Ambassadors.

When you buy our cards know that you have the potential to change someone’s day. Know that there is value in kindness, giving and interacting with people on a personal level. Choose to spend your dollars on a product that values people, the earth and the power of recycling kindness. Think outside the envelope and adopt our new way to greet. It’s a great investment in an awesome movement!

With love and humility,
